Frequently Asked Questions
Can I work towards a graded exam?
Yes, students can prepare for ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams and LCM (London College of Music Exams). This option is available, but you can just play for fun if you wish.
Do I need to have my own piano?
It is not essential for young children or beginners to own an acoustic piano, a standard keyboard with touch sensitive keys will usually be fine to start with. However, when the student becomes more advanced I would encourage you to invest in a full size acoustic piano or digital piano to help make the necessary musical progress as the touch and response of these instruments are required to express music and yourself.
